Oh, look, my Medium profile looks different. What’s up with that?

“Nothing is written in stone,” written in stone. There. There’s your daily dose of irony.

This is going to be a very short post. Its sole purpose is to announce that I’ve changed my Medium name and handle because I’ve just published my very first novel, no, I’m not bragging at all, I’d never do anything like that (except I totally would) and because the advice given to new writers who self-publish is that we should pretend we’re social influencers and hustle like mad, including blogging, I’ve decided to use my Medium account to blog.

I’ve decided to do it under my pen name since I published under a pen name.

Those of you who were hoping to see more of me on Medium than just one measly article and occasional comments to the articles of other Medium writers will be tickled pink.

Since I do have a day job, and I am also about to start work on the sequel to the novel I just published, my blog is probably not going to be very active. There is only so much caffeine in the world, after all, and time travel is not an option. I’m going to try to write once per week.
